In partnership with the Library of Congress Veterans History Project (VHP), Congressman Fong is proud to assist in preserving the firsthand military experiences of Central Valley Veterans so their service and sacrifice are never forgotten.

Service Academy Forum:

In the fall of each year, Congressman Fong will host an “Academy Forum” to introduce students and parents to the nomination and appointment process. Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to presentations and speak with local liaison officers about the process of applying for a U.S. Military Academy and receiving a Congressional nomination. Students as young as 7th grade are encouraged to attend these forums to allow for the early preparation that is required to be a competitive applicant for an academy nomination.
