Our region continues to lead the way for America to explore, test, and advance new flight technologies – from Chuck Yeager’s test flight breaking the sound barrier almost 80 years ago to NASA’s X-59 quiet supersonic flight engine testing last month. This historic flight signifies a new era of hypersonic flight technology, where traveling at faster speeds may soon become a reality thanks to American entrepreneurship and innovation, and I enjoyed learning more about next steps from Stratolaunch when I visited Mojave last week.
