Rep. Vince Fong’s Statement on Governor Newsom’s Media Tour in the Central Valley

“Governor Newsom’s current media tour is nothing more than events to promote and rebrand himself. Newsom continues to ignore the consequences of his own policies in the Central Valley when he limits domestic energy production that causes energy costs to rise, constricts our water supply to our farmers with regulations and refuses to invest in water storage, harms the supply chain by crushing needed rail, truck and warehouse operations, hinders the construction of new highway capacity, and burdens our businesses and farms with taxes and red tape. If he were serious about helping our region, he should listen to our communities and industries instead of demonizing us and undo the damage of his policies.”
