Rep. Vince Fong Hosted U.S. Service Academy Forum and Encourages Applications
Last weekend, Rep. Vince Fong (CA-20) hosted a U.S. Service Academy Forum in Clovis. The forum was held on Saturday and encouraged students from 7th to 12th grade to attend to learn more about receiving a Congressional nomination and the application process.
“I was honored to get to speak with all of these students and parents who are interested in joining a service academy,” said Rep. Fong. “Seeing all of the students who want to serve our country and are so dedicated to their studies was inspiring. I invite all students who are interested in receiving a Congressional nomination to apply by the deadline.”
Completed application packets must be physically received in the Bakersfield District Office by 5pm PT on Friday, October 18, 2024 (postmarks are not sufficient). NOTE: While the traditional deadline is October 20, 2024, when this date falls on a weekend, the applications must be in the Bakersfield District Office the Friday prior to the deadline, October 18, 2024.
