Rep. Vince Fong Helps Advance Domestic Energy Production
Today, the House of Representatives with Rep. Vince Fong’s (CA-20) support, passed the Protecting American Energy Production Act (H.R. 26). This legislation prevents any President from unilaterally banning hydraulic fracturing. The Protecting American Energy Production Act passed the House by a vote of 226-188.
“Today we voted to advance our efforts in domestic energy production,” said Rep. Fong. “Energy costs impact every single American, and it is important that we combat this by continuing increasing domestic oil production in America, especially in California. We must push forward to make America energy independent because we should never rely on our foreign adversaries to provide us with the energy needed to power our great country. Governor Newsom should follow suit and undo his damaging energy policies so Californians can see even more relief.”
