Congressman Fong Recognizes National Dairy Month
WASHINGTON, D.C. – This week, Congressman Vince Fong (CA-20) celebrated National Dairy Month and honored our district’s hardworking dairymen.
“To our dairy farmers: thank you for your tireless efforts to feed our nation. Your work sustains us, and it is an honor to stand in your corner,” said Congressman Fong (CA-20).
California’s 20th District, which encompasses Kern, Kings, Fresno, and Tulare Counties, is at the epicenter of dairy production. Tulare County alone holds the title of the largest dairy-producing county in America, and has some of the largest dairy processing plants. These dairies contribute one-fifth of our nation’s milk supply, producing everything from butter to ice cream, nourishing families, and bringing joy to countless households across America.
