Rep. Vince Fong Now Accepting Summer Internship Applications
Rep. Vince Fong (CA-20) is now accepting internship applications for summer 2025. Students selected for the internship will learn about working in Congress, responding to constituent needs, writing legislation, and understanding California’s 20th Congressional District. Interns have the opportunity to work directly with Rep. Fong and his staff on important issues concerning the district and the issues of the day in our nation’s capital.
“I started my journey in public service as an intern, and it gave me the opportunity to meet mentors and community leaders who got me involved and engaged in our community,” said Rep. Fong. “I encourage all students to apply to the internship, and especially residents of California’s 20th Congressional District to learn more about Congress and to work for our great community.”
Applicants should be enrolled in college or recently graduated from college and have at least a 3.0 GPA. Internships are available in all three office locations: Bakersfield, Clovis, and Washington, D.C. Applications for the summer internship can be found on fong.house.gov/services/internships and are due no later than March 14.
